Planting Day was Saturday April 10, 2010 from 9 am to 12 noon at the World War I Memorial in Walnut Hill Park. We had over 217 volunteers and NB Parks & Recreation staff on hand to help put over 750 roses into the ground. Volunteers brought their own garden tools – pruning shears, trowels, shovels, rakes, gloves and knee pads. Refreshments were provided.
